Indian Navy has released notification for chargeman (mechanic) and chargeman (ammunition and explosive) Eligible Candidate can apply online through its official website. This is a group B non industrial non gazetted and having pay level 6. You should apply for Indian NAVY Vacancy.Selected candidate would be posted to various Naval armament inspectorate(NIA) units at deports/ ordnance factories/ DRDO labs/Quasi military establishments to undertake inspection /QA activities.

Age limit for NAVY Chargeman posts:

For Navy chargeman post your age limit should not exceed 30 years that means if you are not older than 30 years then you are applicable for this post however you will get Age relaxation if you belong to any reservation category as usual.

• Lower age limit –> At least 18 years
• Maximum age limit —> not more than 30 years

Educational Qualification for INDIAN NAVY VACANCY Chargeman:-For Chargeman(Mechanic) :-

Following are the educational qualification for chargeman(mechanic)-

1. Diploma in mechanical or electrical or electronics or production engineering from a recognised university or Institute and
2. Two years working experience in quality control or Quality Assurance or testing or proof in the area of design or production or maintenance of Engineering equipment or system from a recognised organisation

For Chargeman(Ammunition & Explosive) :-

1. Diploma in  chemical engineering from a recognised University and
2. Two  year experience in quality control or quality assurance or testing or proof in the area of chemical engineering or processing from recognise organisation

Examination Fees:

General candidate and other candidate will have to pay 205 rupees for this post.Note: if you  belong to SC ST PWD for ex-servicemen and women then  you don’t have to pay any moneyThis payment can be done through online banking/ rupay card and  any debit card. if you are using upi then you can also go for this.

Special Note:-

1. Fee once paid will not be refunded in any circumstances nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination of selection
2. in case you have made an online payment of fees and money has been deducted from your account without admit card being generated please wait for 7 working days for automatic refund of money to your account

Screening of applications

Indian Navy will screen all applications registered online, as per eligibility criteria and terms and conditions specified by Government of India from time to Merely fulfilling the  basic  selection  criteria  does  not  automatically   entitle   a person/applicant to be called for the online test.
